Colin Sheppard

Dr. Colin Sheppard is the Chief Technology Officer at Marain. Prior to joining Marain, Colin was a Computation Research Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory where he co-founded and led the development of the Behavior, Energy, Autonomy, and Mobility simulation framework. Colin’s expertise is in modeling and optimization of complex transportation and energy systems. He holds a Ph.D in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley, an MS in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University, and a B.S. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University.
